katecooper 0 #1 October 17, 2003 Greetings (cross posted in events and relative work) PERFORMANCE PLUS BIG WAY CAMP, Perris, CA DECEMBER 11 - 14. Come join Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld, Kate Cooper and Tony Domenico as they lead you through a four day camp structured to enhance and improve on Big way skills. You will learn and apply the techniques of diving, floating and base work in this 4 day 20 jump camp. You will receive training on exits techniques from both right and left trail aircraft, tracking tips, canopy control in large groups, and just about anything else you might have questions on when it comes to 100+ formations. The proven model that the organizers use allows smaller formations, 20 - 40 ways, to duplicate all the jobs, visuals, and responsibilities of a 100+ way formation. This is a "no fault" approach to teaching where you are encouraged to push your limits while learning. Any person hoping to hold a world record in large formation skydiving, who would like to be on their first 100 way, or who already has experience but wants to brush up on their skills should attend this camp. Quite a few camp participants are repeat attendees, as they find new ways to challenge themselves and learn each time they join the camp. These camps can also be used as tryouts for upcoming large formation events. Your PERFORMANCE PLUS BIG WAY COACHES will be Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld , founder of Airspeed and organizer of the recent GO FAST 300 way World Record, Kate Cooper and Tony Domenico, who have both have been involved with most World Record large formation skydives, including organizing the last two Women's World Records and being instrumental on the World Team events as well as the GO FAST 300 way. References from past attendees are available upon request. Dates: 7:00 am December 11th through 6:00 pm December 14th. Please be fully waivered and ready to jump by starting time. Location: Perris Valley Skydiving. www.skydiveperris.com has information about local camping, bunkhouses, and nearby hotels. Vallerina 2 #2 October 19, 2003 I'm still mad that I missed it last June, so I'm gonna do my best to make it to this one. Round trip tickets to LA are only $180 non-stop! How much is it for a shuttle to Perris, or is there anyone else flying in there Wed evening and coming back Sunday evening? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

dgskydive 0 #5 October 20, 2003 Yahoo! Val is coming to play at Perris again! See how much it is to fly into Ontario. I don't know the price difference but it might be worth it. If not I am sure we could find someone to pick you up.Dom
dgskydive 0 #6 October 20, 2003 One day grasshopper, one day. You will be back in the air. If Mike Muscat can keep jumping after all the stuff he has done to his body. You can come back to. You just did all your damage in one shot. It took Mike years to gimp himself. So you should have no worries!Dom
Vallerina 2 #7 October 20, 2003 QuoteYahoo! Val is coming to play at Perris again! Ontario is about $80 more, which isn't too bad. I would have a layover in Vegas...that might be trouble! Sigh...so it's either buy a wingsuit right now or go to the big-way camp. Decisions decisions...There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
flyangel2 2 #8 October 20, 2003 QuoteSigh...so it's either buy a wingsuit right now or go to the big-way camp. Decisions decisions... I guess that all depends on where you want to be in a few years with your skydiving. Remember that JFTC happens again in 2005, and it's never to early to start training for that, or have Kate know who you are.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

He didn't look too gimped up when I saw him last. Just another old fart like myself.....One of these years I'm going to break away and make it......Steve1
dgskydive 0 #11 October 20, 2003 Mike, has a definate hunch in the back and some not so good feet and ankles. He just hit a wall two weeks or so ago at the Royal Goge bridge. Yes, I said wall strike on a bridge. That is the Mike we love! Always finding new ways to hurt himself. He is still LO'ing and doing a lot of crew. Forget the whole 9 lives thing when it comes to Mike, that guys must be on his 9th cat by now!!!!!! He was out jumping this weekend and even stood up one of his landings!Dom
ltdiver 3 #12 October 22, 2003 Yeah, our dearest Muscat not only has his regular BASE number, he also is the first to have his 'Strike' BASE number as well. He's hurt himself on all 4 devices... That's our Mike! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
