Travel from DeLand to ZHills

Recommended Posts

Hello Folks,

I have a friend who wants to visit DeLand, Z-Hills and possibly Sebastian, however the only challenge is transportation. Other than renting a car, what are the alternatives regarding travel to and from these places?

Let us start with the DeLand to Z-Hills run first:

Should they fly to Tampa from Orlando? Daytona?
Catch the Greyhound from DeLand to as close as possible to Z-Hills? Is that feasible?
Hitchhike?

Or is the rental car pretty much the only way?

Many thanx for the help,

DTH

Rental! Definitely!

I mean they are really cheap these days.

When we went to Wisconsin the car was only like $20 a day with unlimited mileage.

That is the only way to go.

The trip from Deland is rather short. Depending on the way you go 2Hrsd or less. MOst likely less.

From Z-Hills to Sebastian it is around two but he could hit Lake Wales on the way.
