Anyone help me out with Paralog?

Don't know if anyone uses Paralog, but I'm trying to install it on a Win XP Pro machine, and upon launch, keep getting a "Unable to launch java application" - "Unable to locate the application's main class. The class 'kr' must be public and have a public static void main string y method. (LAX.)

I know a lot about computers - but have NO idea what that means. Tried it on both a Win XP Desktop and a laptop - same response both times.

Anyone have any idea?

you need to install Java(tm)

That may not be the correct URL, so google for 'jre download'

Unfortuantely, that didn't do it - I was hoping it would - installed virtually every type of JAVA runtime I could - still no go. Feh. Any other ideas?

Did you uninstall ParaLog after you downloaded Java and then re-install it?

Not to insult your intelligence, but are you installing the right version(windows) of Paralog? You should have an answer shortly to your problem as Klaus is now aware of it.

Yup. Emailed him for an answer - then found a paralog demo disk that came with my neptune - installed that - and shock - it worked!

So... I guess it's working. :)
