AdD 1 #3 April 18, 2008 You might as well shoot yourself in the foot before you start the whole process. I just went through getting my NZPIA tandem rating, you learn the real definition of red tape. Email NZPIA about it, but for a tandem rating you need: 1000 jumps CAA Class 2 Medical ($200 and FAA medical doesn't count) Fit and Proper Person form Manufacturer's rating Jumpmaster currency check High Altitude Exam Chief Safety Officer written approval for all of the above I think that's it, it took me 3-4 weeks before I could start working here. Good luck and don't come to NZSkydive!Life is ez On the dz Every jumper's dream 3 rigs and an airstream

simonw 0 #5 April 18, 2008 if you want to do a skydive from over 14,000ft you must have done/do a high altitude exam which mostly teaches you about hypoxia and the dangers of it.
