I3uller 0 #1 March 17, 2009 Has anyone on here ever had any issues with their vestibular abilities after freefall? Not stuff like jumping while you have a stuffy nose or not being able to pop your ears afterwards but actual vestibular disorders? Having a constant feeling of dizzyness or light headedness after jumps?

Croc 0 #3 March 17, 2009 Menier's disease can be triggered by trama to the ear (e.g. wind in freefall), noise (e.g. wind in freefall), and generally, chaos (e.g. freefall for a newby). My solution was to get a helmet that enclosed the ears rather than the Protec I was wearing. Take care of your ears--Menier's can be completely debilitating."Here's a good specimen of my own wisdom.
