Vestibular disorders associated with freefall

Recommended Posts

Has anyone on here ever had any issues with their vestibular abilities after freefall? Not stuff like jumping while you have a stuffy nose or not being able to pop your ears afterwards but actual vestibular disorders? Having a constant feeling of dizzyness or light headedness after jumps?

Menier's disease can be triggered by trama to the ear (e.g. wind in freefall), noise (e.g. wind in freefall), and generally, chaos (e.g. freefall for a newby). My solution was to get a helmet that enclosed the ears rather than the Protec I was wearing. Take care of your ears--Menier's can be completely debilitating.
