AFF or AFP?

Hi everyone, hoping you can help me out. I've been on a tandem jump twice in the last month. I'm going to get my A-license next year hopefully. There's 2 choices I have for schools...First one is CSC ( Chicagoland skydiving center ) and the other is Skydive Chicago. CSC is an hour away from me and SDC is about an hour and a half away. I've heard that SDC is better training because they do AFP training and CSC does AFF. Should I go to the dropzone that is closer to my home where I'll most likely jump at when I am licensed or go to SCD because of there AFP program?

Were either of your tandems a "working" tandem where you were taught how to use your altimeter and allowed to pull?
If so; the AFP program might make you a step closer to the A license.
If not; either one will get you to your destination of an A license.
Both are great instructional DZ's

My second one I did turns and he let me pull. No altimeter though, he gave me the sign to pull.

Where did you make your 2 tandem jumps?

Skydive Midwest in Sturtevant, Wi. I can't go there because there weight limit for students is 225lbs. I'm 6'1 237llbs,CSC and SDC weight limits are 240lbs. I really liked it at Skydive Midwest though.

LOL. That's after I've already dropped 30lbs so I could go skydiving to begin with. Just being realistic, I know I could get down to that weight its just keeping it off the whole time. I like to enjoy my beers on the weekend!!
