A Friend of mine is 6'3" and 312 lbs, which Drop Zone(s) in the U.S. can he do AFF Jumps at?

Question

Hello All,

I was recommended to come to this website forum to ask this question.

I have a Class B License and I weigh 250 lbs at 6'3".  A Friend of mine is 6'3" and 312 lbs, we both live in Georgia.  What's the closest Drop Zone(s) here in the U.S. that he can do solo AFF Jumps at as a new student?  He has 1 tandem Jump so far but he wants to get into solo jumping.

That may not be possible. 312 lbs plus the weight of the needed gear is considerably higher than any currently manufactured sport reserve canopies are rated for. It would require a tandem rig converted to single person use. Skydiving is not for everyone.

Yep, agreed!

Unless he will get his hands on military equipment, there is no way due to above mentioned weight restrictions.
