billvon 2,400 #1 Posted February 19, 2021 Hey everyone. The crisis in Texas has affected a lot of people, with Texans unable to keep themselves warm, get food, keep their homes intact and get emergency services. One thing people far away can do to help is to contribute to the emergency and relief services there to help Texans out during this disaster. Below is a list of places you can donate to help out Texans who need help. I sent money to Feeding Texas, a network of food banks who can use money right now to help get food out to needy people there. But there are dozens of other relief services that could use your support, from warming stations to homeless shelters to transportation for elderly or housebound people. There are even pet-rescue places picking up pets that would otherwise be at risk. If you would like to help as well check out the list below for a good way to do so. https://nerdist.com/article/texas-power-out-how-to-help-donate/
