Southern_Man 0 #2 February 10, 2012 As part of changes to VA gun laws they are also going to prohibit localities from requiring fingerprinting for a CCL. Currently it is up to the localitiy whether fingerprinting is required or not. That looks like it is going to pass. The House has passed a version of the Castle Doctrine, the prospects for that are unclear. Currently there is a pretty good amount of case law affirming people's rights in their own houses. Advantages and disadvantages in spelling out rights more explicitly while also disrupting a lot of the case precedents."What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
