CanuckInUSA 0 #1 October 21, 2011 Looks like the gun grabbers up here in Canuckistan have gone wild. Canadian Border Services Agency is increasing it's efforts to detect BB Guns entering the country from China because the RCMP is claiming that people are converting these AK47 replica BB Guns into full blown AK47 assault rifles and the public broadcaster, the CBC is lapping it up getting their gun grabbing base into a fury. For crying out loud if I want an AK47 I will either try to find a real one via the underground market or arrange to have a one smuggled into the country from the USA. It makes no sense swapping out all the parts to convert a AK47 replica BB Gun into a full blown AK47 when you can just try to get the real deal. However the Liberal's beloved Long Gun Registry is now in the hospice awaiting it's inevitable death as the newly elected Conservative Majority Government has initiated legislation to terminate this useless gun control white elephant. The demise of the Liberal's Long Gun Registry is more of an influencing factor with the media and the RCMP than the threat of AK47 violence. Upper/lower receiver, bolt, trigger mechanism, and barrel are the important bits. There is no way in hell a BB gun would withstand a rifle cartridge firing in it.
