sundevil777 94 #2 March 3, 2007 According to some reports, it was Airbus that canceled the order, without informing UPS: http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?ContentBlockID=1a39fe94-27f6-4280-9612-27f60ed4cefa&People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. diablopilot 2 #3 March 4, 2007 Your article states that Airbus chose to delay production without informing UPS, and it appears from the other article that UPS chose to cancel orders because of that. Airbus bit off more than they could chew on this one.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. sundevil777 94 #4 March 4, 2007 For commercial jets, I don't think the freighter version has ever been developed at the same time as the passenger version. So, Boeing will no longer have the most impressive/largest airliner. That bit of prestige will be gone, but the decision to not spend $20B to compete against the A380 was a good one, as was the decision to stop development of the Boeing SST. Like the Concorde, the A380 will likely be a big flop financially.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired.
