So knowing that they were caught *red-handed* wouldn't it have been smarter for the British forces to just let those two undercover agents suffer the consequences of an Iraqi trial?

I mean .., really,.. seems the jailbreak by tank kinda blows the cover (-up) off the ongoing operation.

I don't think you understand the problem. Or you do and just choose to ignore it because of your hatred of whatever. They had been taken by the militia, which doesn't conduct trials - just beheadings. They rescued the soldiers in order to ensure that they could get a fair hearing to find out what happened.

And there is already a thread for this stuff underway, so why did you have to go and start another one?

By the title of the other thread alone ,how would I know it had anything to do with this subject?
