The Pieces of Eight Amputee skydivers Fly again

Recommended Posts

The Pieces of Eight, the amputee skydivers will fly again September 8th 9th and 10th at skydive Perris, Perris CA. We last got together in September 2001 also in Perris CA a week before 9-11-2001.

The old POE record is a 14 way set in Raeford NC way back in 1998 (?)
This year attempt we will have at least 24 gimps maybe as many as 28
One guy is coming from Russia and another from Australia.

This year we will have several FNG to the team including Dan Glanz who lost his right arm in Afaghastan and Maxwell Ramsey who lost his left leg above knee March 1st 2006 in Iraq. Max is still in Walter Reed hospital but says he’ll be there!

Oh yea FNG buy the beer!

Good luck to you. I have always thought that if anything were to happen to me where I lost a limb simply knowing this group exists would do wonders for my rehab. Bob Clark has always been one of my favorite people.
