keefusa 0 #1 August 27, 2001 Not that passing level 1 is a huge accomplishment, but I am fairly proud of one thing. I stuck the landing. I didn't even take a step...two feet down, standing straight up. That felt good. I did a tandem previous to that, and that's fun. But there's no other feeling in the world that compares to being flipped (ever so gently) vertical, looking up at an inflating rainbow colored canopy, and a hot pink slider inching towards your face. None of it compares to the experience of the first jump, but the first jump doesn't come close to the feeling of accomplishment of landing your first solo canopy. Level 2, here I come... rainman 0 #8 August 28, 2001 If I counted right, I'd have to fifth that BIG DEAL!!!!! (Not talking about amendments or volumes here I'm sure lots and lots of people would love to skydive but they're just too scared to take that first step!!Congratulations!!!Ramon
 freeflir29 0 #9 August 28, 2001 Yes it's a big deal! I mean level one is an accomplishment for normal people. Hell, you're from Alabama! You had to work a lot harder than the rest of the world given the average IQ in that state. It's amazing people from Alabama can drive to the drop zone safely(well I guess it is a little easier driving a tractor) much less jump from an airplane and live."The cab driver said... he recognized my girly by the back of her head" -Beasty BoysClay
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
