1. save all your files to a secondary drive.
2. insert a Linux install floppy into your hard drive.
3. reboot and follow directions that came with floopy.
4. Enjoy whole new world of computing without blue screens.

I installed the latest version of SUSE and love it. I can bring the discs by the DZ next time I'm out if you wanna borrow/burn 'em.
