larry 0 #5 January 16, 2002 How many military jumps you got Clay? All static line? Anything really interesting ever happen?Larry
freeflir29 0 #6 January 16, 2002 "How many military jumps you got Clay?" Just 72....all static line on T-10's and -1C's. Nothing too interesting. Never opened a reserve....probably should have once but by the time I looked up to see what was going on I got inflation. On my next to last jump a friend got nice video and stills of one of our new guys almost getting his arm ripped off by a static line cause he was stupid. Saw lot's of people get hurt...normally cause they were doing something stupid. That shit has far more potential to be dangerous because of all the equipment and the exit. Once your out of the aircraft the T-10 is....if nothing else....pretty damn reliable. Now the MIRPS reserve on the other hand is highly suspect. Tailgates even make S/L fun!!!! Nothing like looking out over the tail gate of a C-130 @800 Ft and 130 KIAS. If that doesn't pucker you a bit nothing will......"I got some beers....Let's Drink em!!!"Clay
