D3O in G2

Recommended Posts

I am not sure what you expected. The manufacturer's web site indicates that the D3O is INSIDE the liner pads. On my G3 the liner pads feel like there is a soft foam covering a denser core deep in the pads.

"The helmet liner incorporates D3O for better low impact protection during multiple hits."

He's talking about the G2, not the G3. I would assume the D3O might be a fairly recent introduction and/or new-ish material and the G2s didn't use it? Maybe, don't know.

The G2s used it.

The original g1 or (gas) has it. Mine was only on the top piece, and it was inside of the liner. It's about 4"circle of perforated orange foam that looked pretty useless to me
