Ok, I know that Qunicy was in Illinois so one might assume so is Rantoul but that could be wrong. Anybody know where this fictitous Rantoul is?

Rantoul Illinois seems to be about 175 miles East of Quincy, And that's 175 miles I don't have to drive from Pittsburgh PA. My Plans are to go to both the WFFC and Summervest at SDC. What a road trip that will be!!!!.. Either way is ALOT of corn.

Yes, Rantoul is in the middle of miles of corn, just like everything else in downstate IL (read: not Chicago). But Rantoul is wayyy cooler because it's 20 minutes from where I live in Champaign, as opposed to the few hours drive to Quincy from my place....

Rantoul is about a two hours drive south of Chicago. It literally is smack in the middle of a triangle formed by Chicago, Indianapolis and St Louis.
Major airports nearby are Chicago O'Hare and Midway.
The nearest city is Champaigne-Urbana, home to the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, the guys who invented Mosiac, the old name for Netscape.

Rantoul is kinda like an extended suburb of chicago, like Indianapolis or St Louis.
Actually, the air force base isn't in the middle of corn (if i remember right) so everyone will have to try extra hard not to land on people's houses.
