I-10 East to Junction 198, off at the outlet mall and Left at the lights. Head into Eloy & folow the signs to the Municipal Airport. PLFKING 3 #7 September 11, 2002 I was out there in June on business....took me 1 1/2 hrs, but I stopped to get a drink once, then stopped to film a dust devil. Had heard of them but never seen one....so when I saw one, I stopped and videod it. Drove 3 miles, saw another and stopped. Drove 5 miles, saw another and stopped.... And I m thinking about talking him into doing his tandem there...(so I can get a discounted ride to ELOY) how far form Pheonix is ELOY? actually its only 45 min if you leave early enough its I-10 to Toltec rd (exit 203 i think) take a left over the interstate and take your FIRST right (looks like it goes back to the Interstate, but it goes behind the super8) cross the railroad tracks take a right and then the next left.. you'll see the signs for the Bent Prop etc...at that point you can follow the canopies.. hope to see you there i'll be around all weekend unless something changes...____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
