I asked for help the other day with this (thanks again guys!) and ya all were right...PDF/X was going to take more then a couple days to figure out. However, I did get a trial copy (full) of the Adobe InDesign and did up their ad for them. It went to someone she finally (magazine lady) told me they used to do proofs and such who took what I made in InDesign and fixed it up to their specs. So what I'm getting at is I'm going to have an ad published in a contemporary design magazine. It's very simple though, and they were pretty specific about what they wanted, so I didn't get to play with it as much as I'd have liked, but it was a learning experience nonetheless.
