USPA 0 #1 August 4, 2010 This isn't something to worry about as far as I can tell, but found it very funny to find this label attached to a *worn* tandemloop... The trouble with skydiving; If you stink at it and continue to jump, you'll die. If you're good at it and continue to jump, you'll see a lot of friends die... davelepka 4 #2 August 4, 2010 I find it funny that loop wasn't changed much sooner, especially on a tandem.
matthewcline 0 #3 August 4, 2010 I find it odd that style of loop is still in use. The Sigma has been out 11 years now? When did UPT stop supporting the Vector II Tandem, 4 or 5 years ago? Why are you acting surprised? If you understood the pay level, IQ level and "give a %$#@!" level of the average part-time tandem packer, you would not be surprised. A couple of years ago, I tried to steer a casual packer towards packing according to Strong's method and he offered to punch me out and the DZO backed him! Last month, a part-time packer recently told me that she could pack drogues any $#@! way she pleased ... despite a few pages from the Strong manual being nailed to the wall over her head. Just don't ask me to jump any of her pack jobs! Sorry, but tandems do not pay well enough for me to engage in fist-fights on the DZ!
