Newbie 0 #1 May 11, 2004 i really liked this film. I can't believe the actress that played Pia had never acted before - talk about a natural! I can highly recommend it, it's about the best film to come along since the Shawshank Redemption, personally speaking. kris12 0 #4 May 11, 2004 I agree with both of you. It was a really good movie. It wasn't one that I would have chosen, but I was glad that my friend picked it. kristen swooo #3 MB #3587 P.M.S. #66 "so let go, jump in...what're you waiting for? it's all right 'cause there's beauty in the breakdown"
lawrocket 3 #5 May 11, 2004 I loved it, too. But, let me warn anyone here who ever had difficulties with male father figures. It can certainly hit really close to home. My wife is hotter than your wife.
BikerBabe 0 #6 May 11, 2004 I LOVED this movie. Keisha Castle-Hughes definitely deserved her best actress oscar nomination. Definitely one of those hidden gems. But if you like lots of guns and explosions, don't bother. Another good one that no one ever saw is "You Can Count On Me" with Laura Linney, Mark Ruffalo, and Matthew Broderick. Came out in 2000, wone the trophy at the Sundance fesitval. Incredibly written and acted little movie.Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! GARYC24 3 #7 May 11, 2004 I saw it a theatre in town ,here. I had no idea what it was about. This theatre I frequent has all sorts of movie titile I don't see on tv,ads, etc. It seems to be my thing now, when I'm in the mood to just show-up see what's playing and go watch it. Whalerider, was great!.. Did you cry, at her scene in the play?
