i was just thinking about this the other day as i was driving home from the dz, bummer, i still get all gigly when im on my way to the dz, i was just wondering if there were some huge number jumpers that still get that way, i get all excited,like to the point of shaking almost, just wondering about you guys

its more a day after and day before thing but after 800+ skydives yes i still need to feel the breeze and when the weather sux you dont want to be around me. im grouchy

I can relate...I feel very anxious, in an excited sort of way, going to the DZ and I feel very bummed on the way home.....freaking emotional rollercoaster.....

I need to quit my job so I can just live at the DZ and jump every and avoid those going-home letdowns.

Say!!!!! Why didn't I think of that before????

I dont have a huge jump number, but I still get the "anticipation" rush on the way to the dz..... its not the shaky hands sorta rush anymore, but rather the looking foreward to some good skydives, swoops, and spending time with friends.

I'm not a huge number jumper but I still get motivated going to the DZ. I love jumping, if I don't jump I start feeling down and being bitchy.

After 2 years in the sport it still takes me a wile to fall asleep the night before and the 1st thing I do when I get to the DZ is to pee.
On the way back home I cant belive I am leaving the DZ so I strat to think about the next time I'll arrive at the DZ.

...And once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been and there you long to return...

Hell Yeah!

In 50 min, I get off work, go fetch my kids, have supper, off to a movie - and then at 06h00 tomorrow morning I'm off to the DZ for another 12 or 13 dives! That is so fucking cool!

Nothing has held my attention this long. Sure, I've gone through the FS mill, comp CReW, Tandem slave, Demo slave, Klingon and now it's Birdman and I'm a baby freeflier.

Nothing matches this.

Absolutely.

Can't wait to go to the dz tomorrow but I get REALLY excited when I get a chance to go to a proper dz like Perris or Eloy or other. Next long journey is in December and I'm already excited about it
