Pillow handles folding under MLW

Recommended Posts

Hi, well, when I loosen my chess strap under canopy, my pillow handles tend to fold backwards under the MLF, I have a mirage g3 from 2000 original handles, so I was wondering if there were stiffer designs out there, or how to fix it, thanks.

For the cutaway handle you can put a twist in it to get it to turn outwards.
Take it off the velcro, twist and reseat it.
Make sure you twist it so that the handle moves outward when fastened.

I don't know if this will work for the reserve handle, since it only has one cable.

The better cutaway handles actually have a stiffener plate in them to make it impossible to have it roll under. I'd try the twist method but if the issue keeps happening I'd look at upgrading to a newer design. I had the issue all the time on my old handle but once I replaced it Its never happened again.
