flyingferret 0 #26 November 23, 2004 Well, a true list would be ridiculously long..but a summary: The life that God has given me in multiple ways, and each morning that starts with another breath. A family that loves me and sacrificed to help me grow. Sharing my time and this sport with the most attractive, most understanding, most loving person I have ever met. Friends and a freefly team that truly would do anything to help me. A job that pays my bills and meets my needs. The pain that has allowed me to know the joy. EDIT: And very importantly, the men and women who died to give me the freedoms I enjoy.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI. blueskyserenity 0 #28 November 23, 2004 I am thankful: for my children Paul and Nora (who drive me crazy) for my family (who push me to the edge of crazy) for my friends (who allow me and love me being crazy) that I LOVE my job (which is crazy when you think about how many people don't) for skydiving (crazy to think a year ago this weekend I was gearing up for my FJCfor a second chance on love (crazy b/c I never thought I'd find someone who loved me for me, kids, work, school and all)I like coconuts. You can break them open and they smell like ladies lying in the sun!
livendive 8 #29 November 23, 2004 Family - I take them for granted except for the times that I don't (like right this moment). Friends - I don't take for granted. I'm routinely thankful for all my friends do for me, even if all they're doing at the time is living their life somewhere else in the world, ready to answer a phone if I call. Hilarity, absurdity, beauty, and awe. Basically anything that makes me hit the pause button on my life and just appreciate the fact that I'm here. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" ladyskydiver 0 #30 November 23, 2004 What is there not to be thankful for? Even when things are bad, there is always something to be thankful for. It's hard to put a list together for each item lends itself to another. So I guess what I could say is life and the opportunities that it presents - both personally and professionally. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.
