J-Rock 0 #1 May 31, 2009 Can I use an MT1X freebag in a MC4 rig? I have an MC4 with a lot of MT1X parts. Besides the ripcords not being compatible can you mix and match freebags and main d-bags? Im gonna need a bigger hammer....
LouDiamond 1 #2 May 31, 2009 What size reserve do plan on putting in the freebag? If you mean by mix and match freebags and main D bags as interchange the two with one another then the answer is no."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

LouDiamond 1 #4 May 31, 2009 I cant find your reserve freebag part # in the one manual I have handy at the moment. However, more importantly, is it complete with the stow, bridle and PC all attached? As far as I know you should be good to go. It would help if you could post a pic of the freebag."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
J-Rock 0 #5 May 31, 2009 Ill get pics posted tonight when I get out of work tonight. The main bag was made in 87' and the reserve freebag was made in 89', both are in great condition and NO, I dont have the PC for the freebag so im gonna have to find one of those, along with rip cords and a set of main risers. After that I think Ill be set, so long as these D-bags will work. Im gonna need a bigger hammer....

LouDiamond 1 #7 June 3, 2009 That looks like the one in the mc-4 manual as far as I can tell. Just make sure you get/use a reserve PC and not a main PC."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
