quade 3 #2 February 6, 2005 Good flick. Needs a little cutting because there are some sub-plots that just don't go anywhere, but the main story is tight. I knew the ending wasn't the typical "Rocky" ending but other than that didn't really know where it was going and thought the direction they took it was interesting. Well shot & well acted. I "bought" all of the leads and some of the supportings. Unfortunately I can't say I bought all of the supportings. Luna 0 #3 February 6, 2005 Just saw it today, and have to agree it was a very good movie. I also knew it wasn't a typical Rocky formula, but didn't know what would happen, and was surprised by it. It was very a very touching and sweet movie, and very well acted. I do agree about some of the supportings, too, though, and some of the sub-plots. And, I felt at the end that there was a lot of things that I wanted to see happen that didn't, but maybe that's just because I'm so used to formula movies.
