Hi!

I don't think your skull would work very well on a rig even without the shades:

Generally, if you want something big and complex, it should go on the sides, and then you want a long and narrow design and not a square one.

I also think the skull would look cool even without the tribal designs, what about redrawing the skull alone in Illustrator, or look for a similar skull design that doesn't have the tribals? That would make a simpler design that probably would work.

I designed some embroidery for my rig, and was very pleased with the seagull that went on the side, but there is another one on that rig that doesn't look that good because the design was too complex for the size.

I agree that it needs to be fairly big. I'm looking at the reserve flap for the skull. It is being converted into .dst format now, so I'll have to see how it looks then.

just got my .dst file back. I think it came out good and will look really cool on a black reserve flap.
