gmittar 0 #1 October 16, 2005 Hi guys, I have friend that is planning on doing a tandem at skydive nashville. He said they're not flying till the end of the month. Anyone know why they're not jumping till then? I told my bud I'd check it out. If anyone knows anything about skydive nashviille, I'd appreciate a hollah! Ciao! |>.<| Seriously, W.T.F. mate? freeflir29 0 #2 October 16, 2005 If he has given them any money he is fucked. Don't know a kinder way to put it but "Skydive Nashville" is one of Carey Quattrochi's sites. Read the article about SD Arizona suing them if you have been in a cave for the last 10 years and don't know about it. Oh and read the driving directions carefully..........they'll point you to Cedartown, GA.

matthewcline 0 #4 October 16, 2005 The web page "Skydibe Nashville" is/was an ASC page. There is a REAL DZ that went /goes by Skydive Nashville (located in Russellville, KY). Is may still be rebuilding, if that is the DZ your Friend is going too. And there is Chris Martins Old place that Beezy Shaw now runs. Both DZ's are going through a re-organization process. Beezy is doing well and hopes to keep middle TN skydiving. The Russellville DZ I do not know more on sorry. I would agree with the comment if it is the ASC DZ. Stop payment on the credit card and help your frind find the REAL DZ's nearest to them.An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! Dougjumper 0 #5 October 16, 2005 Skydive Nashville? New one on me unless your speaking of Harry Rooks place in Russelville, KY. He flys I believe a 180 and is a Tandem operation mostly. My Home DZ is TN Skydiving Center and is in Tullahoma. Beezy Shaw and Business managers are still currently working on Tullahoma. Soon to be up and Running. So as far as Skydive Nashville be sure and check with Harry Rooks he may be the one you are speaking of. If not you may be getting scammed. Unless theirs a new place open that Im not aware of which might be a possibility. The glass is half full or half empty doesn't matter. Let go and have the Lord guide your path. He will take care of it all.
matthewcline 0 #6 October 16, 2005 Harry's place is still there but he is now in Florida. I believe new management is still getting sorted out in Russellville. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

chaoskitty 0 #9 October 17, 2005 QuoteCan anyone recommend a good DZ in the nashville area? My friend would still like to jump and at a reputable DZ. Thanks. There is not a dropzone in the Nashville area at this time. Your friend will have to drive at least 2 hours.
Dutchboy 0 #10 October 18, 2005 QuoteCan anyone recommend a good DZ in the nashville area? My friend would still like to jump and at a reputable DZ. Thanks. You might have to drive down to Georgia Skydiving Center in Rome, GA. They might actually be the closest reputable place.
matthewcline 0 #11 October 18, 2005 Reputable, ther are a few in TN. Tulahoma but you'll have to find out the schedule from Beezy. Skydive Paris, Paris, TN. (931)551-6878 it is a 1 and 3/4 to 2 hour drive from Nashville. Those Two I have jumped at and would gladly take friends to. Mike Mullins Place is great but it is about 3.5 hours from Nashville. Hope that helps .An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
