Hey Asshole!
Count Off!

We are in a mountain town called São Bento de Sapucaí, a couple hundred KM from São Paulo Brasil.

This is a picture of Pedra de Bau taken from atop Pedra de Bauzinho next to it. From this angle, we couldn't help but notice the resemblance to the sacred Muff Brother Handsign.

Next to these tall rock formations is a hang glide/paraglide ramp, but being a weekday and somewhat cloudy, there wasn't anyone else around. I plan on contacting them...We would like to do a tandem hang glide here!

Also included is a photo of the two formations seen from the valley. We took the photo from the edge of the left side formation.

Happy Holidays from Marc and Alysse, Brasil

Hi Tami,
Just looked at weather.com for ZHills, and appears that the PMS weekend may get rained out....we have been getting caught in lots of rain too, but hey we have been hanging out in Rain Forests after all....

We certainly miss all our neighbors and pals at ZHills, so all of you keep posting the news on dz.com, and send us a PM or email once in a while!

Here's one of Alysse's younger brother riding a waterfall two days ago.....there is an annual 'barefoot surfing' contest on this rock, but he chose to ride it out on his ass. Did it twice in the ice cold mountain river....!

Also that day, we spotted Santa riding a canopy through the trees at a local restaurant....see attached. I always thought the Brazilian version of santa would be afro, wearing a thong, and surfing...:D

There are plenty of great waterfalls in the parks between sao paulo and rio. This one is in sao bento de sapucai, near campos de jordan (a popular resort town for rich paulistas).

Another great one for sliding and 'barefoot surfing' is near the spectacular historic colonial town of Parati beach, on the road to cunha between rio and santos/saopaulo. Check your guidebook and friends in Sao Paulo, they can steer you in the right direction.

Other famous waterfalls are in Parque Itatiaia and Maua, both reached from the Dutra highway between Rio and Sao Paulo.... All these places are around 3-4 hours from sao paulo city, 2-3 hours from rio....

PM me for more info.......
