Movie Review: Munich

It's long, drawn out and anti-climatic.

I thought it was great. You can't expect every serious movie to be non-stop "Terminator" action. Finding terrorists and assassinating them takes time and planning between jobs.

Maybe you have to be old enough to remember those events for them to be gripping drama on the screen now.

Who the hell were those Swiss guys that knew how to find the terrorists, and made a business of selling that information to the Israelies?

It didn't seem to be as much of an "anti revenge" message to me, as many of the critics are claiming and praising. Yeah, revenge killings may just lead to counter-reprisals, but when the enemy is already sworn to exterminate you, doing nothing is not a good response either.

And it was a good touch with the closing scene, where you see the New York skyline with the World Trade Center towers, thereby tying together the acts of Islamic terrorists 30 years ago, with the same problem we have today.
