Several people asked questions about my smileys in this thread. To answer your questions:

YES, they hurt a lot. It was really, really painful.

The artist warned me that they would fade quickly, and they are. They get lighter and lighter with the passing months. I've only had them about a year, but they're fading fast. My other artist said they'd be gone within 5 years.

They're not a yellow smiley, they're just the eyes and the mouth. I'll post pics of them when I post the pics of my new one (which is being colored on Sunday).
