airtwardo 6 #8 July 4, 2006 ...shouldnt be more then 5'10'' or so and my first thought was "then he could qualify for the space program" cant be over 6' *** Also can't be shorter than 5'4"...or so they 'said'! My wife is 5'2"...and during a tour of Houston's Johnson Space Center a few years back she asked the 'requirements' on height. Told the cut-off for the low side was 5'4"...she questioned why. They guy said that the seats in the shuttle, patterned some what after those in the 747, were designed to compensate only so much and that like in a Boeing 747, there were set size requirements. My wife pulled out her pilots license with a 747 type rating......"Wanna BET?!" she said. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
