NEED HELP! Any auto mechanics out there?

Recommended Posts

Go to Kragens/Checkers/Pep Boys type auto parts store and pick up an ODB-2 car analyzer. I got mine for around $65. It will give the the basic code. It might not tell you the exact problem, but it will get you in the right direction and tell if it is something that might be able to wait or needs to be fixed now.
50 donations so far. Give it a try.

Take it to Autozone and have them pull the code... quick and easy.

And being a 2001 its probably something in the emissions system, like an O2 sensor wigging out. I'm going back to carborated...[:/]

go online and find out what the code mean

call garage and tell them you need you O2 sensor replaced.. (that's what it is 99% of the time, however some newer cars have the light come on at X milage just so you bring it into the dealership)
