Name this animal from Costa Rica

Recommended Posts

Another endearing and commonly seen mammal is the long-nosed coatimundi (called pizote locally), the most diurnal member of the raccoon family, found throughout the country. Coatis wear many coats, from yellow to deepest brown, though all are distinguished by faintly ringed tails, white-tipped black snouts, and panda-like eye-rings. The animal is at home both on the ground and in the treetops, where it can sometimes be spotted moving from tree to tree. (The name coatimundi refers specifically to lone coatis; the animals are usually gregarious critters and are often seen in packs.)

My friend took a trip to Costa Rica. He fed a cracker to one of these animals and all of a sudden there were about 20 of them begging. What is this animal called?

Well, Mike, sometimes when a bear and a raccoon love each other very much....Okay, I have no idea.
I don't have an M.D. or a law degree. I have bachelor's in kicking ass and taking names.
