plummeteer 0 #1 March 9, 2007 I'm a new rigger, haven't got my cert.# in the mail yet, but I received the letter about sec. 715. Just wondering if the number directly over my name is my cert.#. Would someone check their letter and tell me if this number is the cert.# or not? Many thanks Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare
kenneth21441 0 #2 March 9, 2007 Unless things have changd its your SSN..... Did they give you your 3 letter and or number seal... this you then order and use that to seal the parachutes that you pack.Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith
plummeteer 0 #3 March 9, 2007 Yes I got my symbol (and have the sealpress/die), I requested my cert.# not be my ssn. So I wouldn't recognize it yet since I haven't received the cert. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

plummeteer 0 #6 March 10, 2007 Thanks all, someone looked the number for me and PM'ed it. It is different than the number that was on the letter. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare
johnny1488 1 #7 March 13, 2007 It took me quite a while to get my cert number 2 years ago. I think it took about 3 or 4 months. Johnny --"This ain't no book club, we're all gonna die!" Mike Rome
CrazyL 0 #8 March 13, 2007 My riggers cert # was my ssn, had it changed to an Airman #. The # is 7 digits. You may call the FAA in OKC, OK to get the details of your #. The FAA will also send you a plastic card that similar size as a credit card with your official info on it. Is your temporary certificate nearly expired/expired? plummeteer 0 #9 March 13, 2007 I received it yesterday. Took just under 8 weeks. I wasn't really worried about it, just thought that the number on the letter I received before it might have been the cert#. All good now anyway.
