Viking 0 #28 December 1, 2006 QuoteFor a plain old drive, I'd recommend: Start at Otay Go east on 94 through Campo (some pretty country) Take 8 into the El Centro valley (cool vistas) Go north from Ocotillo Wells on 52, then take the Great Southern Overland Stagecoach Route of 1849 (it's actually called that) into Scissors Crossing. Some very cool desert out there. Take 78 into Julian and get a piece of pie. Take 78/67 down through Ramona back to San Diego. Drive should take about 5 hours plus stops. NIIIICE thats going on the list!! I modified though to go past lake henshaw and up to Palomar Observitory.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
Shotgun 1 #29 December 1, 2006 QuoteI modified though to go past lake henshaw and up to Palomar Observitory. I see that my photo of the men's restroom has you intrigued. There's a vegetarian restaurant called Mother's that is near the observatory. A lot of the sport bikers go there because they like those roads, so there are lots of guys (and a few gals) in cute leather outfits. Oh, and the food is really good there too.
