plummeteer 0 #4 March 4, 2007 Hey I had that issue, that must've been 35-40 years ago. It had a cool picture inside to discribing the gear and a "how to" about PLF. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

JohnMitchell 16 #6 March 4, 2007 I came across that issue years ago too. It was all written in the gutter gear days, but was surprisingly accurate. The gear was correctly drawn and the jokes were not the standard whuffo fare. I liked the part about practicing landings off of a barstool. Then it said fine, now if you can first land on the barstool, you can then make a good landing from there. The author/artist had obviously spent some quality time at the DZ. I couldn't remember nearly that much about it but it was one of my favorite editions that I got over the two years or so I subscribed. I was far from knowing how accurate it may have been. My favorite part of the whole mag was the little pictures in the margins and gutters. One of my friends collects comic books and saw this exact "MAD" at an auction. He bought it and gave it to me just cause he thought I'd like it. Kind of gay...I know...but I thought it was funny.I don't want to make all the decisions because if I screw up, then I can't blame it on you...
