LisaH 0 #1 April 8, 2007 I would so love to bottle the scent of the bonfire that absorbs into our clothes and hair while we party around it. mmmm...sexy Be yourself! MooOOooOoo
FlyingJ 0 #2 April 8, 2007 It never gets old, does it. Working in wildland fire, pretty much every piece of my work related clothing/gear has the smell thoroughly soaked in. I get accustomed to it quickly, but when we haven't been on a fire in a while and I catch a wiff it's just great! A few months back we did a prescribed fire on a unit almost completely covered in cedar that had been cut down. Now THAT was a good smellin' fire.Killing threads since 2004. I can't say that an emergency fire counts What will go into my Eau de Bonfire is fun time smelling cedar, etc. Even that shit wood they just throw in there for flames The stuff that makes you smell like bonfire the next morning Be yourself! FlyingJ 0 #4 April 8, 2007 That's the great thing about doing a prescribed fire. If all is going well, you get to light it and sit back and watch. Only instead of a few feet or yards across, it's probably a thousand acres or so! Now the downfall - you can't be throwing back a few beers while watching it. That we have to make up for after hours.Killing threads since 2004.

kbordson 8 #11 April 8, 2007 Henri Bendel candles smell GREAT when they're buring, but the really good thing is that even just sitting by the bedside, you can smell it. Relaxing and nice. Excellent candles!! )
