I went to pick it up and about had a heart attack. Again, not scarred of snakes, especially not racers. But when you think you're grabbing a nice, calm, nothing special hose and you get a wiggly, squiggly surprise... Tiny little sharp teeth that will leave a nice little pattern of blood drops in the shape of their mouths. But it really doesn't hurt and they are harmless. Also they eat insects, fish and frogs, not mice. I'm not trying to be arguementative, bit I have been bitten by the lil' buggers and nyet on the teeth. misskriss 0 #59 April 25, 2007 But there may be snakes in your backpack.Had to bump this up for a funny story. My daugher has a pet cornsnake that has been missing. She neglected to let me know about its MIA status until she called me from school this morning. Apparently, when she started taking books out of her backpack her snake came out as well.
