jeremy_o 0 #1 September 21, 2006 Hey all, First time cypress owner here. My question is how do I verify it has actually had its 4 year service and new batteries like the seller has said. Should I have gotten a "service record" or can I contact SSK with the serial #??? Thanks.http://planetskydive.net/ - An online aggregation of skydiver's blogs. masterrigger1 2 #2 September 21, 2006 Jeremy, You should have a record with it, but sometimes they are lost. You can contact Eric at SSK and he will assist you. Great guy to work with there! skybytch 259 #3 September 22, 2006 The unit should have a sticker on it showing the date of last battery change and another sticker showing that it had it's 4 year done. You can contact SSK and ask if the stickers aren't on it. One really cool thing about the skydiving gear industry is you can contact any manufacturer and someone will usually happily take time to answer any questions you may have. jeremy_o 0 #4 September 22, 2006 Thanks guys, upon closer inspection I found two stickers on the unit. One has the last battery change and one says "2005 Airtec Check" on it. Do I need any sort of "official record" or will my rigger be able to install this without any problems with the condition that I have it in?http://planetskydive.net/ - An online aggregation of skydiver's blogs. skybytch 259 #5 September 22, 2006 As long as the battery has been changed in the last 2 years you should be good to go.
