15 Year old UK Tandem

Recommended Posts

From the Ops manual:

'No person under the age of 16, or over the age of 55 years will be permitted to carry out initial ‘solo’ parachute training. Exceptions to the higher age limit may be permitted if the person has previous recorded parachute experience. Higher age limits for Student Tandem Parachutists may be acceptable (see BPA Form 115 – Student Tandem Parachutist Declaration of Fitness to Parachute/Doctor’s certificate).'

Is all I can find regarding age.

It doesn't appear to rule out tandems for under 16, just solos, as far as I know all UK BPA DZs require at least 16 though.

Yea, thats the dilema its not actually against the rules of the BPA as far as I can tell but its just trying to find a DZ willing. [:/]
