mamajumps 0 #1 September 28, 2007 1 yr ago today a massive man hunt was under way just blocks from where I work and only a few miles from where I live. Today is a sad day remembering such an outstanding deputy and his K-9. Matt & Diogi. He was one of the good ones.... I know his family, they live in my town.... God Bless! normiss 622 #2 September 28, 2007 and he was put down like we put down animals by a drug slinging street urchin. damn shame some of the hundreds of bullets fired in response missed him. that was an evil event.
warpedskydiver 0 #3 September 28, 2007 what the hell was he armed with, a rifle?
normiss 622 #4 September 28, 2007 somehow he stole the deputie's side arm and popped in the back of the head - twice shot the dog too...so then the cops form this YUGE should to should line...and just started walking into the woods shooting... fully justified by the review committee! warpedskydiver 0 #5 September 28, 2007 That's awful, and to think of all who sneered at taking weapons retention classes. It left me thinking WTF? we had a female 105lb intructor take the sidearm off of every person at the classes, you should have seen their faces afterwards. Spin like your life depends on it, because it does. BTW like a skirmish line, or were they really that close to each other? if truly shoulder to shoulder they are lucky to not have to bury a few more officers. normiss 622 #6 September 28, 2007 no not quite shoulder to shoulder...but that's what the cop killers family tried to claim when they said they were going to sue.. story

sunshine 2 #9 September 28, 2007 I have a special place in my heart for all surviving friends and family of officers that were killed. Next wednesday (October 3rd) will be the 2yr mark of when my sister was killed in the line of duty. Police officers put their lives on the line everyday, and should be remembered and honored. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! SWATcop 0 #10 September 29, 2007 A sad day , I remember it well.On another note, I just heard the PBA is looking for skydivers (Cops) with over 200 jumps and who have the ability to raise $1000.00 to be a part of a 25 way RW jump with the money going to the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial fund. Not sure where or when the jump is yet. Kevin Muff Brother #4041 Team Dirty Sanchez #
