clint 1 #1 June 8, 2006 Hi, I just picked up my Inst. from the landing area and noticed a big rip/tear exactly in the middle of the center cell and exactly in the middle of the bridal attachment point (BAP). The BAP is ok on the top skin but the bottom skin has about a 3' tear. SKydive Sebastion had the same problem. THey jumped Strong gear and A2's. The A2 canopies were brand new and within 60-100 jumps, all 3 canopies ripped in the same spot as mine. My Inst. was in Sebastion this winter so he knows about the tears. Anyone else have similar incidents? My Inst/Rigger thinks it's a canopy flaw. If it is, I would like to know what they are going to do about it.
