nate_1979 9 #1 March 4, 2006 Has anyone who owns a Vector changed the line stows on their D-Bag, .... Mabey I'm just not used to it, but it just seems alot harder to keep the lines neat when the rubber bands are on the ends of the D-Bag... Also seems like the lines are at a greater potential of getting too close / around eachother when closing the container with that location, .. Really dont need any bag locks anytime soon.. Any idea why they choose to have the bands at the end of the bag vs. near the center of the bag? Any tips? Or should I just shut up and get used to it? FGF #??? I miss the sky... Samurai136 0 #2 March 4, 2006 Those are called inboard line stows. See link for previous discussion on the topic."Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken

klafollette 0 #4 March 4, 2006 As a followup to that other thread, I had issues with my new Vector and Samurai main, giving me frequent line twists. I had my rigger sew on inboard line stows to the D-bag. Since then, I have not had any more issues with line twists. Theory is that having the stows all the way out on the end of the bag can cause it to rock more and have a greater potential to spin as the lines deploy. Don't know if that's true or not, but results seem to indicate it makes a difference.
