Computer help please

Recommended Posts

I keep getting a prompt that pops onto my screen and says:

LuCallbackProxy.exe Application Error

Does anyone know what this is and how I can get rid of it? I just keep X-ing it out. I don't hit OK to cancel it because I'm afraid that might start something.

Thanks. :)

ctrl + alt + del > task bar> end program.

that will cut it off.

then go to Start>Run> type MSCONFIG > click the start up tab > find the program and disable it.

That will stop it from running when you start your computer.

Then go to your control panel and click on add/remove programs. find it and remove it.
In the Navy, you can't put your hands in your pockets but I was always told not to put my hands in my pockets by people with their hands in their pockets. Kinda funny huh?

Don't know what's causing the error, but LuCallbackProxy.exe is the LiveUpdate program associated with Symantec / Norton products. Perhaps uninstall and reinstall whatever Symantec / Norton products you have installed.

Norton is E-V-I-L... Slows down you computer and never catches all the bugs.

Get NOD32 or Avast(free at avast.com) and enjoy :)
