Syncing MAC with Neptune Using Paralog

Recommended Posts

Ok. I've put a fair amount of effort into this and got nowhere so far.

I am trying to use paralog with my neptune os my MAC (OSx 10.4)

I have purchased an IrDA adaptor which is recignised by my MAC and Paralog. BUT.... I can't get the neptune to recognize it.

The grapevine says that there are people out there who have achieved this, but I'm damned if I know how.

Ideas Anyone.... Ideas that don't involve a PC or a PC emulator!!!

Just to be sure here, you're saying Paralog is working fine and is trying to access the Neptune but the Neptune isn't responding to the IR ping?

Check HERE for troubleshooting the neptune.

Have you tried contacting Klaus at Paralog? He responds to e-mails promptly and is the best bet for troubleshooting. Contact him HERE

Certain IR interfaces require surprisingly abnormal range for a device to interface with another. Some it's less than an inch, some it's upwards of a foot. Read through the instructions that came with the adapter to make sure that you are attempting to connect from the appropriate range.

And it's "Mac," not "MAC".
I really don't know what I'm talking about.
