Does your DZ Review look like this?

Recommended Posts

Heya,

Does your DZ review have this? Probably not as I've just added this feature. ;)

Go back and update your DZ reviews. It's a great way to provide others with information about the places you've jumped at and helps us build a comprehensive resource about DZs around the globe.

To see all your Reviews:

1) Click on your name in the forums to bring yup your profile
2) Click on the "Reviews" tab in your profile
3) Scroll past the gear reviews to your DZ reviews listed at the bottom
4) Click on "Modify your Review" on the right next to each of your reviews.

Don't just rate everything a 5... or a 1. (Unless it really is) Think about it a bit in relation to other DZs you've jumped at. Just rating them all at the highest or lowest will probably erode the credibility of your review. No one is either that great or sucks that much... but of course I could be wrong!

Here's what a complete review should look like.

That's it! Enjoy! :)

More to the topic; thanks HH for the additions. :D

You're welcome. :)
BTW - when you write a review you'll get some guidance on what to think about for each rating. I'll link this legend of the page where you read the reviews as well. Basically it boils down to:

Professionalism: How they treat you regardless of your experience level.
Vibe: Friendliness, Cliques...
Aircraft: Number, Turbines, Variety, Specialty aircraft...
Facilities: Landing area, Packing area, Showers, Food...
Services: Coaching, Load Organizing, Rigging...
Location: Scenery, Accessibility, Weather...

What he said! If you can extend such objectivity to gear reviews as well, so much the better.

Professionalism: How well they TRAIN & treat you regardless of your experience level. Newcomers should adore you if you do it properly. "Properly" is in they will enjoy many years of skydiving and will always remember their first instructor who showed them the way. Blue Skies !!!

Sangiro,
Please add these guidelines to the Dropzone Review pages so that reviewers will know just what they are expected to comment about.

For example, too many reviewers are simply relating "Location" to distance from home.
My reality and yours are quite different.
