SarahC07 0 #1 June 13, 2009 I accepted a PIN into my blackberry messenger and now I have "Antonio Perez" on my contact list. I don't know a Antonio Perez ... what is going on? This happened over night and I can't think of anyone who's been in my phone to steal my PIN.

OlympiaStoica 0 #5 June 13, 2009 This is a Blackberry to Blackberry message (using the PIN-to-PIN feature); two possibilities: - someone that knows you and your PIN sent you his contact; or (most likely) ... - spam ... someone sending the contact to random PINs; if that's the case, delete it ... This happened over night and I can't think of anyone who's been in my phone to steal my PIN. He probably mis-typed the PIN when he sent the request to you. Happens to me all the time. Had some fun conversations with folks from all over...Florida, Norway, France... Since you didn't have Antonio's PIN in your Address book, you saw the PIN, accepted it, then his PIN transmitted the name he has set up in his BBM. We should do a PIN exchange on DZ.com...I chat with a couple folks here... So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! O Problem is, you can't spam a PIN through BBM unless the recipient accepts the PIN. Now, PIN messages could, however, you can only send a PIN message from another BlackBerry. I did a search on Crackberry and couldn't find any overt discussions about "PIN Spam"...So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
